Jessie Jones, L.M.T. The massage therapist behind Knead To De-stress.

Massage Care Built on Experience, Listening & Consistency

I’m Jessie, the massage therapist behind Knead To De-Stress. For the past 14 years, I’ve helped people step away from the tension they carry, feel more comfortable in their bodies and give themselves time to be cared for.

My approach has evolved beyond the traditional idea of massage as a “spa day.” Today, my sessions combine therapeutic bodywork with an understanding of movement, stretching and how the body works as a whole.

The body is dynamic. I believe the way we care for it should be dynamic too.

A Massage Should Adapt to You.

LISTEN FIRST

We start with how you’re feeling, what’s bothering you and what you want from the session.

WORK WITH PURPOSE

Pressure and techniques are chosen based on what I’m finding and how your body responds.

ADAPT AS WE GO

Your massage doesn’t have to stay inside one modality. The approach can change throughout the session.

BUILD ON EACH VISIT

Working together consistently means we don’t have to start from zero every time.

From Helping People Unwind to Helping Bodies Move Better

Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked as a table games dealer in a casino. It was a completely different environment, but eventually I found myself drawn to work that felt more personal and meaningful.

I became a massage therapist in 2012 because I wanted to help people feel better — to ease the pain and tension they carry, but also to give them permission to stop for a while and let someone else take care of them.

That part of massage still matters deeply to me.

So many of us spend our days taking care of other people, meeting responsibilities and pushing through what our bodies are telling us. A massage can be one of those rare times when you don't have to do anything for anyone else.

Over the past 14 years, my approach has evolved considerably. My sessions have become less about creating a traditional “spa day” and more about providing thoughtful, therapeutic bodywork that recognizes how interconnected the body really is.

My passion for yoga has become an important part of that evolution. Depending on what your body needs, a session may incorporate stretching, movement and different massage techniques rather than relying on one approach from beginning to end.

The body is dynamic. I believe the way we care for it should be dynamic too.

Massage Isn’t Just a Luxury. It’s Self-Care.

I wish more people thought about massage the same way they think about movement, rest and other forms of self-care — something worth making time for regularly rather than something reserved for a special occasion.

You don’t have to wait until your shoulders are completely locked up, your back is demanding attention or stress has reached its limit.

Regular massage gives you an opportunity to check in with your body, address tension as it develops and intentionally make time for yourself.

Taking care of your body helps it keep taking care of you.

What Clients Say About Working With Me

★★★★★

“Jessie has been my only go-to massage therapist for 5 years… Too many masseurs have a routine and don’t appear to understand anatomy or your individual needs. Jessie tailors what he does to your specific requirements.”
